We have collected and bought nautical charts over the years and use these to represent the sails while using found driftwood to represent the sailboats.

We love the idea of bringing into your home a small piece of the outdoors with you.  The sea glass and driftwood are always a reminder of the beach, sun and sand.

We also find Seaglass of all shapes and sizes and then use this in making Christmas ornaments, wine toppers and Christmas trees.

About Karie Johnson

Since a young age, Karie has enjoyed sharing her creativity with others.  As a teenager, she started learning woodworking skills to make stands for her brother's decoy business, Bodt Decoys, and still continues to this day. She did some wood carving throughout college with shore birds and then began to Tole paint various items as a full time professional.

Later becoming a nurse, time constraints limited her crafting abilities, although she still enjoyed creative outlets.

With a house full of crafting materials, and a love of beachcombing, she has resumed her creativity. With her love of the outdoors, Maryland and the Chesapeake Bay.  She is now making various items out of driftwood, old maps, sea glass, boating charts and various items incorporating the theme of reuse, recycle and upscale.
